During Zero Hour in the Lok Sabha today I raised the attack on my constituency office, not just as an attack on an MP's constitutionally-protected work but as a sign of the increasing vandalism & violence in response to free speech. The answer to an opinion should be another opinion! In democracy you don't always need to agree, so long as you agree on the ground rules of how you disagree. What is most alarming for our democracy is that the ground rules of the last 70 years are being cast to the winds by the ruling party & its supporters.
